Running from June 15th to August 18th, this exhibition centers around the tale of the Anon fish from Thai literature. According to the myth, the Anon fish has existed since the creation of the new world, bearing the immense burden of carrying the world's weight. This story, told through Korrawit's ceramic works and digital illustrations, reflects on the imbalance in our natural system caused by urbanization and modern challenges.

Korrawit Kanjanakuha’s artistic career is as dynamic as his creations. He studied Urban Design and Development at Thammasart University, followed by a focus on Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University. This eclectic academic background paved the way for his innovative approach to art.

Returning to his roots in Lamphun, Korrawit collaborated with his family’s ceramic factory, Chuanlhong Ceramic. His upbringing, steeped in traditional ceramic-making and motifs, inspired him to merge these elements with digital art and character designs. His hybrid practice often incorporates vibrant, crackled colored glazes, brain crawl glaze with bizarre textures, and forms derived from illustration work.

Join us for the grand opening today at 5 pm. This is an excellent opportunity to meet Korrawit, gain insights into his creative process, and experience his captivating art firsthand. The event is free and open to everyone, making it a perfect cultural outing for families, art enthusiasts, and the curious-minded.

Don’t miss this chance to witness the first solo show of an emerging artist who skillfully bridges the gap between myth and modernity.

The Weight of the World is a fascinating exploration of the physical and social issues of contemporary cities through the lens of mythical narratives and artistic innovation.

Visit Kalm Village from June 15th to August 18th to immerse yourself in Korrawit Kanjanakuha’s world. Experience the intersection of traditional Thai art and contemporary digital expressions, and reflect on the poignant messages conveyed through his unique creations.
