Celebrate International Jazz Day 2024 in Chiang Mai!

Calling all jazz lovers in Chiang Mai! This year's International Jazz Day promises to be a swinging affair with free entry at several venues across the city on April 30th.

Here's a quick rundown of what's happening:

North Gate Jazz Co-Op (19.30 onwards)

• Kick off the evening with Mango Tumbao at 7:30 pm, followed by a lineup featuring Sanpakoi Combo, NG brassband, and a late-night jam session. DJ Momo Pixel and The Mellowship will be closing out the night.

The Mellowship (19:40 onwards)

• Immerse yourself in contemporary jazz with Sura Collective at 7:40 pm. The night continues with Soul Out (Latin Jazz), The Stolen Moment (standard jazz), and ends with a dose of city pop from Cherie Pops.

Mahoree (19:15 onwards)

• Enjoy a chilled evening with Joshua's jazz piano and vocals at 7:15 pm. Nym & Ken will take the stage with their musical stylings, followed by Sourbitter (standard jazz) and Rootless Jazz Band playing modern jazz to close out the night.

Moment's Notice Jazz Club (throughout the day)

• Start your day with a Jazz Bass Essentials Masterclass at 3:00 pm. The live music kicks off later with Frankie Hong (Standard Jazz), Abandoned Town (Smooth Jazz & Neo Soul), Del Ritmo (Latin Jazz), and Eyestyles bringing Pop, Jazz, and Variety to round out the evening.
