Dr. Jeanne Rungby is a master in both the healing arts of medicine and the creative realm of painting. Her initial aspirations were firmly rooted in the world of art. However, influenced by her mother's practical guidance, she pivoted towards a career in medicine. This shift did not extinguish her artistic flame.
Balancing her responsibilities as an accomplished Otorhinolaryngologist, she continues to pursue painting with a steadfast passion, demonstrating her skill and commitment in both fields.
Rungby’s abstract paintings combine storytelling with a visceral examination of human life and emotion. At the intersection of nature in all her wildness and the fragility of human kinship, Rungby’s work is compelling.
