Deaf Shop Is A Vinyl Listening Gem

Deaf Shop

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Deaf Shop is not your average vinyl listening bar.

It’s a hidden gem that celebrates the beauty of analog music in a way that is truly unique.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of attending an EP launch for local band Echo Resort at Deaf Shop, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget. Good times!

The bar is in the heart of Chiang Mai and features a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere inviting you to relax and unwind. The staff at Deaf Shop are knowledgeable and passionate about music, and their extensive collection of records is a testament to their dedication.

The owner of Deaf Shop, Laurens Brouwer, is the founder of Liquorish Records and a talented DJ and mix master. He has curated a collection of vintage vinyl that will please your ears: a recent swing by the shop I spotted Ragamuffin Hip-Hop by Asher D & Daddy Freddy, Out of Space by The Prodigy, EVOL by Sonic Youth, Did You Hear Me by Mort Garson and The Boss by Diana Ross. It’s wonderfully eclectic.

The bar also features a gallery space on the second floor that showcases the work of local artists.

Deaf Shop is a vinyl listening gem that celebrates the beauty of analog music in a way that is both cool and cozy. Whether you’re a music lover or just looking for a unique night out, Deaf Shop is a must-visit destination.

So grab a drink, sink into a comfy chair, and let the warm, fuzzy sound of vinyl transport you to another world.
